Harry Chou
CEO

CEO and founder Harry Chou started the company after a successful career in the architectural field as well as running a wholesale furniture business. His main mission is to meet and exceed the customer’s project needs at any time or any day, which as a result continues to drive the company forward. Being of Indonesian descent, he has always found it important to be involved in the local Indonesian community, as evidenced by his position as President of the Indonesian-American Business Council (IABC), as well as providing business and job opportunities through his business locally and abroad.

 

Andrew Chow
Director of Operations

Andrew joined the AFM team in 2009 when the company had just a handful of staff members. Since assuming the role of managing day-to-day operations, Andrew has overseen the growth of the company to now having 15 administrative team members in addition to expanding operations and sustaining and developing relations with vendors and clients. With his knowledge and experience of many aspects involved in the hospitality industry from design, construction, logistics, installation, and problem-solving, Andrew is able to emphasize a focus on these details among his team, which extends to how the company as whole services our customers.

 

Lyle Thompson
Product Consultant

Widely considered by his peers as a veteran in the hospitality industry, Lyle brings nearly four decades of experience to the AFM Team. Previously an owner and operating partner of his own custom manufacturing company, Westwood Interiors in Los Angeles, Lyle is able to share his knowledge and experience with the AFM team helping us push our brand and company to the next level. Lyle’s mission for years as a hospitality professional is to offer a wide variety of beautiful, durable and quality furniture pieces for suites, public areas, guest rooms and even unique one-of-a-kind items for residential applications

 

Sandra Castaneda
Senior Project Manager

One of the original members of the AFM team when the company converted from the wholesale market to the hospitality industry in 2006, Sandra carries with her nearly two decades of experience in the furniture industry. This experience, along with her familiarity with furniture construction, allows Sandra to simultaneously manage multiple guestroom projects involving case goods and seating. The brand of hotel projects Sandra often manages are Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Best Western‘s and Sheraton’s.
